Salt Crust Baked Idaho® Potato

Yield: 2-4 servings

Ingredients


  • 1 30-count size Idaho Potato
  • Herbs
  • Coarse sea salt


Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Bake the potato for roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes.
  3. Remove potato from the oven, herb crust it and bury in salt; put back in the oven for another 8-10 minutes.
  4. Crack open the salt crust and remove the top; set aside.
  5. Blossom the potato and serve with crust top on side for a dramatic presentation.
