Ask Dr. Potato

Q: Help! My mashed potatoes turned out watery. How can I remedy the situation?

A: If you added too much milk, sour cream or butter to the potatoes and they turned out watery, my go-to solution is to mix in two tablespoons of Idahoan® dry mashed potatoes. This ingredient will absorb the extra moisture without compromising taste.
