Potato Soft Pretzel Bites with Creamy Caramel Dip are a decadent dessert that everyone in the family will devour. The dough is a simple combination of warm water, yeast, mashed Idaho® potatoes, sugar, salt and flour. Roll the dough into ropes and cut them into 1-inch bites. Drop the dough pieces into a mixture of boiling water and baking soda. When they float to the surface, transfer them to a prepared baking sheet coated in cornmeal. Brush with one beaten egg and sprinkle them with salt before baking for 10-12 minutes or until the pretzels are golden brown. To make the caramel dipping sauce, mix together softened cream cheese and caramel ice cream topping.
