Do I Have to Use a Metal Bowl In The Fridge to Store My Baked Potatoes?

Q:

Once my baked potatoes are cooled can I put them in my fridge on an open plastic bag or must I use a metal bowl?

A:

No need for a specific-material bowl (such as metal). I suggest storing cooled, whole baked potatoes in any clean tray, bowl, or other shallow container and loosely cover (to minimize dehydration while preventing condensation) and use within two days.
