In May 2014, Todd Miller joined matchboxfoodgroup as executive pastry chef for the groups fast growing Teds BULLETIN concept. Famous for house made pop-tarts, seasonal pies and frothy (sometimes boozy) milkshakes, Miller expanded the brands bakery selections, adding his own twists to American classics.With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Miller has made a name for himself working in a variety of kitchens including corporate, hotel, mom-and-pop and most recently a popular cupcakery with two locations in DC. As executive pastry chef for Hello Cupcake, Miller produced and decorated the trendy treat with natural ingredients, including his wildly popular red icing made from reduced strawberry puree. During his tenure Miller also taught classes designed for the home cook anxious to learn the art of making cupcakes.Prior experience as pastry chef for Agraria in Washington DC allowed Miller to design a seasonal pastry menu developed from products sourced at local farm markets. While working there Miller created not just pastries and cakes but ice creams as well as breads from scratch. He had his first reality TV experience in 2007, accompanying Agraria Chef Ricky Moore on Food Networks "Iron Chef Thanksgiving Battle."Miller currently lives in Washington DC.
